The Dress...then and now

This year my husband & I celebrate
22 years of wedded bliss!

When I first saw this dress, I knew it was the one!

My daughter tried on my dress last summer...
and it brought tears to my eyes!
She is such a beautiful young lady!
So sweet, so loving!
A treasure!

It is my constant prayer that she will find
the perfect mate that God
is preparing just for her.
And that they will be as happy
as we are!

And maybe this dress will again be
 a treasured keepsake
of another lifelong adventure!

Please join as we celebrate and share
all things WEDDING!

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!
Lori

Oh my gosh...I thought your daughter was YOU! You look so beautiful and so does your lovely girl.

My girl tried my wedding dress on a few days before she married. So much has changed in regards to gowns, etc. But something about seeing her in my dress made my heart jump with joy... Life had completed a full circle and I was overcome with joy.

Blessings to you girly~

How sweet your daughter looks in your dress, my daughter wore mine, it barely fit but it made it until the dance and then the zipper blew! Well at least she wore it and the stinker has yet to give me a picture or I would show it, I guess 3 babies in a row would make one get sidetracked, I'm sure I'll get it one of these days! lol Hugs, Marilou

Beautiful. I had a such a lovely dress for my first wedding. If we had stayed married we would have been together 25 year this coming November. He was my HS sweetheart but it was not meant to be. Now I will celebrate in October of this year my 17th wedding anniversary. My how time flies. Hope your day is beautiful. Tammy

Hi, dear friend! I am soo happy that you were able to join our Wedding Blog Party! You and your hubby make such a handsome couple. I adore your gown ~ the sheerness at the neckline, the fullness of the skirt, and oh my, all that frothy gorgeous lace!! Stunning! Your beautiful daughter looks just like a Princess Bride, doesn't she?!? And she really favors you, I think. How old is she now? So very pretty and how wonderful that the gown fits her. My daugher tried mine on in 8th grade (wearing roller skates, no less!) and it was already a bit snug on her!

On to visit more wedding posts, but I'm sure I will re-visit your pretty post again and again. I love seeing what we all looked like on our special days!

Big TX Hugs,
