Teacup Tuesday

I have long admired Terri's beautiful displays of teacups on her Teacup Tuesday posts at Artful Affirmations!  She has many beautiful treasures in her collection!  Being a collector of teapots, you would think that I'd have more teacups to go along with these teapots, but I really don't....and shamefully do not have any idea of the background on the companies that produced the lovelies that I do have!  

But I've always wanted to participate ~ so here goes!

Just a couple pictures of one of my favorites that I received from my husband's aunt.
I love the Mother of Pearl finish...
The cut-work on the saucer...
and the gilded feet!

Didn't get a picture of the stamp on the bottom, 
but it just says "Made in Japan".

I apologize for the unattractive, quick shots today...
no beautiful vignettes here...
But we'll work on that for the next time!
